The Buenos Aires International Book Fair offers exceptional programmes for educators: International Education Sessions, International Reading Promotion Congress, International Summit of Storytellers and the International Science and Technology Teaching Promotion Forum.

28º International Education Sessions

April 26 and 27, 2019

The most traditional teachers meeting in the frame of the Book Fair. Intended for both undergraduate college students and educators from all levels wishing to update didactical and pedagogical aspects of their daily classroom activity.


19º International Science and Technology Teaching Forum

April 29 and 30, 2019

This meeting is fundamental for science teachers from all levels and for students with high science formation. It involves topics from the scientific and technological environment which will be considered in debates, round tables, conferences and workshops.


24° International Summit of Storytellers

May 3 to May 5, 2019

A space looking forward to promote speach and to remark the value and richness of oral storytellingThis activity gathers  storytellers of all ages in order to consolidate the narration movement in Argentina and abroad


21º International Reading Promotion Congress

May 11 and 12, 2019

Reading promotion is a distinctive mark of the International Buenos Aires Book Fair.  The 21º Congress includes the participation of well known writers and specialists as well as allows reading and book promoters to discuss about the readers´ formation, among other important topics.


Zona Docente (Teacher’s Zone)

This space is located in the Yellow Pavilion, next to the Cerviño entrance. It is provided with an auditorium for 60 persons.  Its programme contains different education issues and works from Monday to Friday. Participation does not require previous registration.


Issay Klase Award for Educational Book

This award is meant to stimulate both writers belonging to Spanish speaking world and their publishing houses to focus their production in updated education matters.
