Isabel-Clara Simó (Alcoi, 1943) earned a degree in Philosophy from the University of Valencia, where she first made acquaintance with nationalist groups, under the tutelage of Joan Fuster. She holds a PhD in Romance Languages, and has worked as a teacher and a journalist. Isabel-Clara Simó is an extremely versatile author, who over four decades has published very regularly and professionally: more than fifty titles, mostly prose but also poetry, theater, essays, radio and television scripts, memoir, and translation; in addition to her journalism.
